Failed to read "MgmtDBName" from the registry. - BizTalk2006.Assembly.Deploy task

description

I get the following error when attempting to deploy a BizTalk dll to a remote BizTalk server. This is using build 2.1.2978. I notice a slightly new version, but the change log says nothing about changes to this task.
